2 years ago (before Eva was in our lives) we bought an egg dying kit. I convinced Ryan this would be a fun date night activity....and then we never got around to it. 2 years in a row that kit just sat in the back of our pantry as I kept telling Ryan that we shouldn't toss this kit. And on Friday evening we finally got to dye some Easter eggs!
Step 1: Let your toddler run around in her diaper. That stuff can dye clothes. Plus toddlers look cute in their diapers.
This was definitely a 2 grown up job. It was helpful for one of us to be right there with Eva while the other one was going back and forth from the kitchen. We only had one incident of knocking over the cup of dye.
Stir, stir, stir! Eva really liked "mixing" up the egg in the bowl of dye.
And of course it was always fun to put the egg in the cup. A splash of color = a fun family night!
Our beautiful eggs! All ready for our Easter celebration tomorrow!
So fun! Those are some pretty eggs :>
