As the days go by...

It is officially September and only 9 days until my due date! My goal all along has been to make it to September and now I am ready for Eva to arrive. I actually woke up early this morning and had a couple of hours of contractions that were about 7 minutes apart....but then, nothing. I guess that means I could have her soon (tomorrow????) or it could have been false labor and I will continue to love my ever growing belly for another week. I have my weekly doctor's appointment tomorrow morning so maybe we'll know more then.

I've taken pregnancy photos the past 9 months with the idea of comparing them all together towards the end. The end is now close enough! Most of these pictures I've already shared on my blog, but I think its fun to see the progression. I originally thought I would wear the same outfit every time. That didn't happen. I meant to do them every 2 - 4 weeks. It was more like 4 - 6 weeks. I should have always taken them from the same side. Oops - week 16. I wish I was more tech savvy and could figure out how to insert a slide show into my blog or at least create a picture block. That's not going to happen. It would be amazing if each picture of me had a matching sonogram picture of her. We only got 3 and the last one was at 20 weeks. So.......Here is my best attempt to show how God amazingly creates a growing baby inside of a happy mama.

6 weeks - Guess who's pregnant???? I WILL look like this again one day.

12 weeks - A tiny bump.

16 weeks - Time for maternity clothes!

20 weeks - It's a girl!!!

25 weeks - There is definitely a baby in there!

30 weeks - The fine line between feeling cute pregnant and huge.

32 weeks - Maternity Photos

36 weeks - Getting closer, wardrobe becoming VERY limited!

38 weeks - Ready for Eva!
(Ironically, wearing the exact same outfit from 16 weeks. I may have grown a little.)

The waiting will continue. I have received many outside requests for which day I "should" have her on. All I can promise is that she will come on her birthday, and that's as good as I can get it. But I will accept prayers :)
