Amanda went to her baby doctor this week and was put on bed rest for the weekend. We're all hoping that its just temporary, until her blood pressure goes down and everything is safe for her and her baby, but I can imagine that she's still pretty restless. I know she'll be reading lots of blogs, so I wanted to dedicate one for her! Amanda is a wonderful sister and I'm so thankful that I married Ryan so that he could share her with me. I thought I would post a few of my favorite Amanda pics. The one above was taken in Hughes Springs, Texas (where Ryan and Amanda grew up). It has my other sister in-law Melody in it also, but I love her too so I figured it was okay for her to be included.
This pic is from my wedding. Amanda was so supportive and excited for Ryan and I when we were getting married. I remember driving in the car with her one day and Ryan and I asked her when she thought she might be getting engaged to her boyfriend Brian (now her husband!) and she thoughtfully responded that she didn't want to talk about her getting married when Ryan and I were still engaged because she wanted our time to get to be about us. I thought it was so considerate of her to think about that. Everything worked out well because Brian actually got her engagement ring the weekend Ryan and I were married and proposed a few weeks after. I'm also thankful that Amanda got to know my friends so that all the wedding preparations would be fun and not awkward.Amanda, I hope you enjoyed this posting and that it entertained you for at least a few minutes. Ryan and I are so excited to meet Mallory, and already love her and pray for her all the time! I hope our little babies grow up to be best friends and that our futures are full of lots of Bradley holidays, birthdays, and sleepovers for our kids. And the next picture we take together needs to be one baby bumps! Rest up!
You are the sweetest! Thank you for the blog! I laughed about reading when I hit the car in the parking lot. Good Times! I love all of the pictures! I'm so excited for you and Ryan and can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew in Sept! Thank you again! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI too hope it is temporary. 27 weeks is when I was put on bed rest for blood pressure and although you do catch up on sleep/ tv/ books and maybe some other things it can definitely get VERY restless!!!!!!!
