At 16 weeks here's how I'm doing:
* Still tired, but not as much as early on. I've had to cut out my afternoon nap since I work til 5pm now.
* Still very nauseous. I am ready for this to end!
* HUNGRY!!! Which doesn't always work well with the above symptom.
* Some nights I can't fall or stay asleep because I just feel uncomfortable. Lots of pillows and occasionally moving to the couch helps.
* I also don't sleep well because I make 10 trips a night to the bathroom! I'm considering buying stock in Charmin toilet paper :)
* Rockin' the maternity wardrobe! Why didn't anyone ever tell me how awesome maternity pants are? Seriously, they are sooooo comfortable. I had a friend loan me a pair of amazing maternity jeans that I am wearing today and they are the best pair of jeans I've ever worn. Around week 14-15 I suddenly popped out more and Ryan and I began to think that I actually looked pregnant in every outfit that I put on.
* What was the next thing I wanted to type.......oh, forgetful. Still.
*Craving: Chick Fila, Lemonade, Chocolate Milk, PB& J Sandwich, Mexican Food, Sherbet, and Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches (Starbucks has the best!)
*Excited for every little movement that could be the baby. Haven't decided if I feel anything for sure yet.
* Ready to shop! And decorate! This of course must wait until I know the gender and where we are going to live.
This is about the time I started to loooooovee being pregnant! Kinda jealous... Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, so fun! And you look super cute :-)
ReplyDeleteThe nausea should (hopefully) go away soon...and then you will really love to eat! It is so fun to look forward to that gender sono. Make sure you eat and/or drink something right beforehand to get the baby moving. You're doing great!
Hey Kate,
ReplyDeleteYes, I know maternity clothes are very comfy. I still wear my maternity tops sometimes. I loved being pregnant too!!! I remember sleeping out on the couch several nights. The bathroom was also my best friend. The movements feel like little butterlies in your tummy. Thanks for keeping us posted!!! My sister was born on Sept 10.
