12 Week Bump

Here is my little 12 week bump. Right now it's still pretty small and not too noticeable, but I can definitely tell a difference. Goodbye abs. Even though I've only gained a couple of pounds, my clothes fit very snugly. I would be so happy to wear a sundress every day instead of pants. It's still weird to adjust to the idea that it's okay to slowly be gaining weight. Women spend so many years thinking, "If I could just loose 5 pounds...." and now I'm being told to gain about 25. One thing I love is the difference in regular workout DVDs and pregnancy DVDs. In my Jillian Michaels video she says, " If you feel like you're going to die, you're probably not. Keep pushing yourself! Don't stop!!!!" In my Denise Austin cardio and toning video she says, " You're doing good and taking good care of your baby. Way to go. Take a break if you need to." She's so positive.

Everyone keeps telling me I should start feeling better soon. I will be so ready for that :) Right now I'm still feeling nauseous and exhausted most of the time, but it is worth it! I probably felt the worst during the week of all the Texas snow, so I was super thankful to work from home, on the couch, in my pajamas.

Ryan has been the best husband the past few months. He does a great job of taking care of me!!! He is encouraging and supportive. He's gone to doctor's appointments with me. He hugs me and doesn't judge when I start crying over silly things. He reminds me to laugh off all the weird changes that happen to your body when you're pregnant. He lets me nap alot and go to sleep early. He helps make dinner. He even cleaned the bathrooms! What a man. I'm glad he is my "Baby Daddy."

  3. hahaha I love the part about the workout part. Btw you should read Belly Laughs. It's by Jenny McCarthy so you would think it would be terrible, but actually its nice to have all the weird body changes explained in a completely comical way. Best pregnancy book ever.
