Summer Tradition

When my mom started nannying for the Butler family 12 years ago they invited me to use their pool sometime. Invitation accepted. I have been swimming in their pool every summer since I was 16 years old. Back then I would go over and hang out with their daughters (or babysit) and swim almost every day. They had the best, most comfortable pool floats and a stero system that would play my CDs over the outside speaker. It was awesome. Since becoming a grown up I haven't been able to go as often, but I still try to stop by for a visit a few times each summer.

Today was the first time I took Eva with me to enjoy swimming with her Aunt BB. I was happy to pass down the tradition of swimming in the Butler's pool with my sweet girl. She loved floating in the water and playing with Brooke.

Wish they lived a little bit closer and we'd go back again tomorrow! Maybe in a few weeks...
