This morning we got Ryan packed up and sent off to go to youth camp for the week. It'll be just me and Eva for a whole week while Ryan ventures off into the great outdoors with a group of middle school boys. Well, just me, Eva, and all of the friends and family that are coming over to stay with me. I've made many plans for people to come over or for us to go do things so that we're not lonely.
This is the first time for Ryan to be gone since having Eva. We knew it was inevitable with his job but that doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye. I may have cried as I drove away, but only for a minute or so. I can't imagine if he was a soldier and had to leave us for months at a time. We will miss him so much!
